Anabel Leiner

I started some abstract works on paper which are inspired by one of my canvas elements, the oval. It's a form of depot holding a special vitality and simultaneity within. There are signified elements which can form patterns, but it is denied to take over. It's a balanced coexistence. It's not meant to be an execution of ideas, but living moments which can stop unexpected when mine or the viewers mind can 'read' my drawing and is able to accomplish the sentence or just enyoys the space left for thoughts. Sometimes thoughtful, sometimes jaunty - sound dreams in progress.
